About the role

As Area Sales Manager, you will drive the commercial strategy and expand the business in South East Asia. Reporting to the Chief Sales Officer based in our HQ in Wandre (Belgium), you will be part of a dynamic, international sales team. You will combine your technical and commercial expertise to build strong partnerships, meet ambitious targets, and deliver tailored solutions to clients and partners. This role is perfect for a sales professional who thrives on challenges and values autonomy in decision-making.

Key responsibilities

  • Craft and Executive your Regional Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a sales strategy aligned with the group’s objectives and local markets dynamics. Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends. Drive revenue growth and strengthen CE+T Power’s market presence in your region.
  • Build and Manage Indirect Sales Channels: Identify, onboard, and support distributors, integrators, and resellers to promote CE+T Power’s solutions. Provide training to partners, ensuring they are equipped with strong technical and commercial knowledge. Guide and supervise partners during negotiations with end customers.
  • Unlock New Opportunities through Active Prospecting: Explore untapped markets and potential clients to expand CE+T Power’s reach. Attend industry events, tradeshows, and conferences to generate leads and increase visibility. Customize solutions to meet client needs and highlight the value of CE+T Power products.
  • Manage Strategic Direct Sales Efforts: Take charge of direct sales opportunities, when necessary, from need identification to contract closure. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of key projects.
  • Collaborate Across Teams for Client Success: Work closely with Product Managers, Project Engineers, and Sales Support teams to ensure technical feasibility and seamless delivery. Maintain strong communication with CE+T Services to guarantee exceptional after-sales support. Engage with the Marketing & Communications team to support promotional activities and strategic messaging alignment.
  • Monitor Performance and Report Result: Track sales performance, analyze key metrics, and propose corrective actions when needed. Provide regular updates to the Chief Sales Officer, highlighting successes and identifying areas for improvement.

    Your profile

    We are looking for someone with :

    • Technical Expertise: A degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (or a related field) with a strong understanding of backup power systems and/or the renewable energy industry. Your existing network in the power electronics and telecoms sectors is a valuable asset.
    • Proven Sales Success: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, you have a verifiable track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales goals. You are skilled in managing top corporate accounts and working effectively with partners in and indirect sales model.
    • Solution-Oriented Approach: You are capable of designing and presenting tailored power backup solutions, leveraging your creativity to generate new leads and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
    • Dynamic and Autonomous: You thrive in independent roles and are motived, proactive, and results-driven, with great attention to detail. You enjoy working in global, multicultural teams and demonstrate a strong team spirit.
    • Good Communication: You are an excellent communication, fluent in English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in additional languages is a bonus.
    • Openness to Travel: You enjoy being on the move, with a significant part of your time spent traveling to meet partners and clients in your assigned region. Travel to HQ (Belgium) at least once a year.
