Assistant Manager - Validation & Certification

Role Overview

As an Assistant Manager in Validation & Certification, you will lead our efforts to certify power modules and systems to international safety standards. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our products meet stringent compliance requirements and set benchmarks in the power electronics industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead the certification of power modules and systems according to international safety standards such as EN / IEC 62040-1, 62477-1, 62109-1&2, 62368-1, and UL 1778.
• Develop test plans based on design and construction reviews.
• Perform pre-compliance testing to ensure design and specifications meet compliance.
• Manage internal test records, including withness report preparation.
• Write test reports following the defined IECEE Test report format.
• Coordinate with external labs for the execution of environmental and reliability tests.
• Collaborate with project leaders and cross-functional departments to ensure product compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with 6-8 years of relevant experience, or
• Master of Engineering in Power Electronics with 4-6 years of experience.

Skills

• Deep knowledge and experience in power converters, inverters, and UPS product certifications.
• Proficiency in safety testing including electrical, mechanical, and material aspects.
• Experience with power electronics lab environments and handling high-power AC and DC equipment.
• Skilled in automatic testing equipment setup and familiar with ISO 17025 laboratory processes.
• Strong ability in using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
